My dog has severe itching due to allergies and it gets so expensive to go to the vet every month and get a $100 cortisone shot. I would like to look into some home remedies that might provide relief for my 7 1/2 year old Yorkie. Does anyone know if Benadryl is safe for dogs and if it works (what would be the correct dosage be)? Any ideas would be much appreciated…thank you I am currently feeding him Addiction brand kangeroo and apples dog food.
